Hello!
I'm hoping someone here can give me some expert advice on which manufacturer
makes the best quality food processor. I'm looking for something in the 11-
to 14-cup range, with a motor powerful enough to grate raw horseradish root
(that's what killed our old food processor!).
So far, I'm gravitating towards either KitchenAid or Cuisinart, but I just
saw a clearance item on Chefs.com for a nice looking DeLonghi 12-cup
machine.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!

My wife bought a top of the line KitchenAid for me for xmas. I absolutely
love it. It is very well made.

I have a Cuisinart Professional 14 and wouldn't think of buying anything
else. However, I don't think you could go wrong with either Cuisinart or
KitchenAid. DeLonghi's products don't seem to be consistent in
quality/durability. Some excellent, some not so excellent.

That said, horseradish root is probably one of the toughest tasks you
could put to the test. However, I do grate fresh coconut in mine and
have done so many times. No problem there.
